Fun with Idioms

An idiom is a group of words which, when used together, has a different meaning from the one which the individual words have.

For example, “Jason was bent out of shape when he saw that his car was stolen.” “Bent out of shape” does not mean that he actually changed shape. It meant that he was very mad.
